Climate change increases the intensity and frequency of heat events, thus affecting dogs' health. This collection explores how heat and humidity impact dogs' natural temperature regulation, signs and biology of heat illness, and evidence-based ways to provide immediate relief to overheated dogs.
Many people in the United States and around the world believe that climate change is real, yet many do not act on these beliefs in their daily lives. To better understand how to motivate climate action, a team of Penn researchers conducted an intervention tournament testing 17 psychological strategies. This collection feature three exercises adapted from the tournament’s most effective interventions and the key insights they revealed.
