The Penn Climate Insights follows a transparent review process to ensure that all published content remains high-quality, accurate, and up-to-date, while keeping the process streamlined and accessible to minimize the burden on contributors.

The Contributor submits an Insight via the online Contribution Form.
The submitted Insight is reviewed by the Penn Climate Insights editorial team. In some cases, additional review by an external expert may also be conducted.
Following review,
If only simple revisions are necessary:
The Contributor is invited—but not required—to review the suggested simple changes. If no feedback is received, the changes will be automatically approved after two weeks unless prior arrangements have been made.
If substantial revisions are necessary:
The Contributor is required to review the requested changes and update the entry.
If no or minimal revisions are necessary:
Contributor review is waived, and the Insight moves directly to publication.
The Insight is published on the Penn Climate Insights platform.
The Penn Climate Insights editors will send the Contributor an annual reminder to review and update their Insight(s) as needed.
